Link’s Retatrutide Journey
My son, Link, struggled with his weight after puberty. Along with severe anxiety, he gained a significant amount of weight and eventually reached 240 pounds. What made it so frustrating was that he truly was trying. He made healthier choices, stayed active, and put in the effort, but his body just wasn’t responding. His confidence suffered, and he developed high blood pressure at such a young age.
On February 15, 2026, he started Retatrutide, and it has completely changed his life.
Today, Link weighs 188 pounds, a total loss of 52 pounds. His blood pressure has returned to a healthy range, and at his most recent doctor’s appointment, he was told he is the healthiest he has been in a very long time.
The biggest change hasn’t just been the number on the scale. It’s who he has become.
His anxiety has improved dramatically. He smiles more, carries himself with confidence, and is no longer hiding behind oversized clothes or avoiding situations because of how he felt about himself. As a teenager, self-esteem affects every part of life, and watching him become comfortable in his own skin again has been something I can’t put into words.
His relationship with food has completely changed. He’s no longer constantly hungry or thinking about food. He naturally makes healthier choices, recognizes when he’s full, and enjoys eating nutritious meals. What once felt like an uphill battle now feels sustainable.
He’s stronger, more active, and more motivated than I’ve seen him in years. He has the energy to stay active, build muscle, and continue making healthy choices. Even simple things like walking, exercising, and keeping up with friends are easier and more enjoyable.
Beyond the weight loss, I’ve watched his overall health improve. His stamina has increased, his mobility is better, his confidence continues to grow, and he’s developed habits that will benefit him for the rest of his life.
As a single mom, there is nothing more rewarding than watching your child become healthy, happy, and believe in himself again. Retatrutide didn’t just help my son lose 52 pounds. It gave him his confidence back, improved his health, and gave him a future where he knows he is capable of achieving his goals.
